               These tropical fruits are both delicious and nutritious, they are packed with fiber that sweep away poisons out of the gut.

They fight and neutralise those poisonous toxins lurking in your body, threatening to ruin your wellbeing. 

In this article I will examine the more tropical fruits that are our favourite and how they immensely benefit your health. 

There are so many tropical fruits and vegetables known to promote detoxification and quick recovery from illness or tiredness.  Some of the best ones include:

Bananas

Bananas help overcome depression due to high levels of tryptophan, which is converted into serotonin — the happy-mood brain neurotransmitter.

High potassium content protects against muscle cramps. High in potassium and low in salt, bananas are officially recognized by the FDA as being able to lower blood pressure and protect against heart attack.

Lemon

It’s  a great detoxifier and alkalinising agent. Specially useful in urinary tract infections and kidney stones. You can have some lemon juice in your water.

Grapefruit

Revered for its ability to promote weight loss, grapefruit is also an effective detoxifier. 

It helps the liver function optimally while at the same time supplying the rest of your vital organs with antioxidants to fight off poisons and free radicals. Packed with vitamin C. Choose the isoflavanoid rich red or pink variety.

Pineapples 

Often referred to as the king of fruits packed with vitamin C, energy and potassium. Ideal for when you are exhausted and fatigued from illness or exertion.

In the United States, Canada and Scandinavia pineapples are a popular pizza topping. That will certainly make the Italians cringe!

Apple

Apples are one of the healthiest foods a person can eat. They are high in pectin a soluable fiber and vitamin C, and they are also low in calories, have only a trace of sodium, and no fat or cholesterol.

Apples are high in polyphenols, which function as antioxidants. Polyphenols are found in both the skin of the apples as well as in the meat, so to get the greatest amount of benefits, eat the skin of the apple.

All of these benefits mean that apples may mitigate the effects of asthma and Alzheimer's disease, while assisting with weight management, bone health, pulmonary function and gastrointestinal protection.

Avocados

Packed with healthy fats, avocados help in detoxifying the body because it is loaded with antioxidants capable of dealing with toxins as well as free radicals.

Garlic

This list of the top detoxifying foods won’t be complete without garlic. This herb that makes food taste zestier is very good at bolstering the immune system and detoxifying.

Ginger

Just a note of caution. Fruits are calorie packed, high in fructose and their have a high glycemic index. They should therefore be eaten in moderation.
