How your Big Butt affects your Health !

          In some cultures especially in Africa and South America having a big butt is a positive beauty attribute and highly desirable.  

In this article, lets examine how this natural endowment affects your health. 

Recent studies conducted at the University of Oxford in England, demonstrate that women with bigger butts or buttocks are more intelligent and less likely to get chronic illnesses than women with average or below average butt size. 

These results revealed that women with larger butts enjoy health benefits which include lower levels of blood cholesterol and good hormonal balances that help them process sugar better.

As a result women with bigger butts are less likely to have ;

1. Type 11 Diabetes  

2. Cardiovascular or Heart disease.

The results also show that women with wider hips tend to have smarter children. This is all thanks to the excess of Omega-3 fats that are stored in the butt. They help in brain development!9

We already know that women with wide hips have a wider birth canal and therefore have an easier and quicker child birth. 

This might partly explain smarter kids because the time interval the brain is deprived of oxygen during birth is much shorter.


In a recent ABC News report, Professor Konstantinos Manolopoulos, who leads the team at the University of Oxford, says that,  

"Women with more fat on the buttocks have lower levels of Cholesterol and Glucose.”

Women with bigger butts tend to have more leptin and dinopectina. Leptin is a hormone that helps regulate weight and dinopectina helps fight stomach issues and diabetes.

The adipose tissue in the butt also traps fatty particles, therefore keeping the heart healthier.

In separate studies, Universities of Pittsburgh and California in the USA, conducted researches which concluded that women with bigger butts have a longer life expectancy.
